My Favorite Core Exercise Progression
I get asked all the time- besides rolling my legs, what can I do with my foam roll? Some of my favorite core exercises are on the foam roll. If you don’t have one already, I highly recommend getting a full length (36 inches) foam roll so that you can do more than just roll out your legs….
Remember to choose the appropriate level for you. Some days level 1 feels appropriate, and some days I can take it all the way through. You want to find the right level where you can do it correctly but it’s still a challenge. Level 1 is always a great warm up if you are strong enough to do a harder level.
And of course- do not do these if you have pain doing them! Get in touch with your physical therapist!
