Why is Physical Therapy considered an essential business?
1 in 2 adults report a musculoskeletal injury, according the United States Bone and Joint Initiative. This is a higher rate than either chronic circulatory or respiratory conditions. Physical therapy provides treatment for people who have disabilities or are recovering from illness or injury. The therapy is designed to improve the patient’s mobility and decrease pain.
There’s no reason to postpone your post op rehab because of the shelter in place. Don’t stop exercising because of knee pain. Or struggle with back or neck pain while you work from home. There’s no reason to be afraid of falling, because we can help.
We are ready and able to help through in person or virtual TeleRehab.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security states: “If you work in a critical infrastructure industry, as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, such as healthcare services and pharmaceutical and food supply, you have a special responsibility to maintain your normal work schedule.” They define “essential infrastructure workers” to include “physical and occupational therapists”.
Call or email and figure out if an in person visit or virtual TeleRehab visit is right for you.
